Balazs Dibuz has been an amateur photographer for over 20 years, but (with the exception of one or two photo contests on the Internet) this is the first time and the only place his work has been shown publicly. Otherwise, he is a husband and father of three, and teaches middle school language arts and social studies in Palatine, IL. He is not originally from the Midwest, though, but rather is a native of the Pacific Northwest, where he studied Comparative History of Ideas at the University of Washington. He also has a Masters degree in Comparative Literature from Indiana University and loves to read and write fiction and poetry. Balazs has also lived in Hungary for many years, and loves to tavel, which explains the variety of locations in these images.
